Head of English

We are looking for a Head of English for an international school based in Kunshan, Jiangsu province. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of English to secondary school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques Designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Co-teach with fellow teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum Support the program coordinators in the maintenance of an accurate inventory of educational resources Use a wide range of technologies and creative teaching and learning methodologies to accommodate differing learning styles Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Qualifications Bachelors degree; Masters degree preferred At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience Proficiency in collaboration, building relationships, and communication within a dual immersion setting Salary and benefits Monthly salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance Leadership allowance Annual return airfare for employee and dependents Medical insurance for employee and dependents Full tuition support for employees with school-age children Summer and winter holidays Public holidays Residence and work permit sponsorship
