We’re looking for someone who has the fire to prove others wrong 🚀 About the role We are looking for a Head of Talent to lead the charge in building an extraordinary team at Solstice. This is a rare opportunity to define and scale the people strategy of a company operating at the intersection of AI and life sciences. You’ll be responsible for everything from shaping our employer brand to driving high-velocity hiring, ensuring that every person who joins Solstice raises the bar. You’ll collaborate directly with co-founders Yiwen and Aris and work closely across engineering, product, and customer functions to scale a world-class team. Reach out to [email protected] to learn more. What you’ll be working on Build an impeccable recruiting experience for candidates, from sourcing to onboarding. Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy across all departments, including engineering, operations, and customer success. Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs, define role scopes, and manage full-cycle recruiting for high-impact positions. Drive Solstice's branding initiatives, tell Solstice’s story and attract top talent who align with our mission and values. Implement recruiting analytics to track pipeline health, candidate conversion rates, and time-to-hire metrics. Create programs to nurture internal talent, manage performance reviews, and foster leadership development. Some ideal traits we’re looking for Builder mentality. You have experience scaling teams from the ground up, ideally in a fast-moving startup or tech-driven organization. Strategic and operational. You can design long-term talent strategies while also executing hands-on recruiting at pace. Deep recruiting expertise and network. Proven track record sourcing and closing top talent across technical and non-technical roles. Must have a strong network in the technical startup ecosystem. High EQ and storytelling ability. You can inspire candidates, communicate Solstice’s mission with authenticity, and build meaningful relationships. Bias for action.
