Technical Sales & Application Engineer

The selected candidate will be placed with our client company located in Germany.

• Salary: from €70.000 to €100.000 gross per year

Role Description:

You will act as the primary link between customers, the sales team, engineering, production, and quality control, ensuring that customer requirements are transformed into technical solutions. Your goal will be to contribute to the long-term satisfaction of international customers and support business growth by providing tailored, high-quality technical support.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with customers and the sales team to understand technical and application needs
• Evaluate customer inquiries and identify technically feasible and commercially viable solutions
• Support customer visits, technical meetings, and project discussions throughout the sales process
• Serve as the main technical interface between client engineering teams and internal departments
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and test requirements
• Coordinate and manage technical documentation (drawings, samples, ISIRs, PPAPs, etc.)
• Analyze customer complaints, field returns, and test results, promoting root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement and quality management documentation updates
• Work within international, cross-functional teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
• Previous experience in industrial manufacturing or automotive is an advantage
• Knowledge of rolling/sliding elements, chassis components, suspension systems, or comparable applications is a plus
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong customer orientation, communication skills, and clear technical language
• Willingness to travel for meetings and project activities
• Excellent English language skills; knowledge of additional languages is considered a plus
• Self-driven, analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Hands-on approach, teamwork, and international environment orientation
