As an IONM Professional, Neurophysiologist (DABNM), you will play a key role in supporting surgeons and healthcare teams by providing critical IntraOperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) during routine and complex surgical procedures. Since 2010, INN has been accredited by The Joint Commission, monitoring over 40,000 patients annually. We are seeking an IONM professional who holds a D.ABNM certification or is eligible to sit for the D.ABNM examination. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside highly experienced and respected professionals in the IONM industry, gain exposure to complex cases and advanced monitoring techniques, provide in-person oversight alongside an in-house technologist, and continue developing your clinical expertise in a collaborative, learning-focused environment. What You’ll Do Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) for assigned surgical procedures, including patient preparation, electrode placement, equipment setup, signal acquisition, and real-time monitoring. Evaluate IONM data, recognize significant changes and abnormalities, troubleshoot technical and physiological factors, and communicate findings promptly to the surgical and anesthesia teams. Collaborate with IONM Technologists and remote interpreting physicians to support accurate interpretation of monitoring data and appropriate clinical response to changes in neurological function. Maintain effective, real-time communication with surgeons, anesthesiologists, IONM Technologists, remote interpreting physicians, and other members of the patient care team throughout procedures. Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain IONM equipment and ensure accurate, high-quality data collection in accordance with established protocols. Accurately document monitoring activities, clinical observations, communications, and case data while maintaining HIPAA compliance and completing required reports within established timelines. Provide education, mentoring, and clinical guidance to IONM Technologists and other members of the care team as appropriate. Participate in quality assurance, case audits, performance improvement, research, continuing education, and professional development activities. Maintain strong relationships with surgeons, hospitals, customers, and internal teams and contribute to organizational initiatives as needed. Maintain flexibility for a variable surgical schedule, including extended hours, add-on and emergency cases, and rotating nights, weekends, and holidays. Quarterly Case Utilization Bonus Incentive Travel Pay Incentive Marketing Bonuses Weekend Case Bonuses PTO & Company-Paid Holidays Volunteer Paid Days Company-Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability Employee Assistance Program (with counseling sessions and work/life support) Telehealth Provider access for you and your family members Advanced Case Training may be available Requirements What You’ll Need Diplomat of the American Board of Neurophysiologic Monitoring (DABNM) preferred, required within the first 2 years of hire Over 5 years of advanced experience in the field of IONM required Active CNIM certification is required PhD or MD in related field is required (as defined by ABNM eligibility requirements for the DABNM certification) https://theabnm.org/eligibility/ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, pathologic processes, and aseptic techniques Proficiency with IONM equipment and ability to acquire and analyze data across multiple IONM modalities Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and OR staff Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position with variable weekly schedule based on surgical caseload Work is performed in the operating room environment; requires prolonged focus, standing, the ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs, and Manual dexterity for applying electrodes and operating equipment Rotating on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays Local staff serving local facilities Memphis TN, Northern MS, and Eastern AR areas Dedicated 24/7 operations support team Why IntraNerve?
