Junior Backend Engineer

About the Role

Join a healthcare AI engineering team building backend systems that automate administrative clinical workflows. You will develop secure, reliable services that process clinical information and help healthcare organizations bring customers onboard efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deploy AI-enabled backend systems that process high volumes of data through APIs.

• Shape product improvements by incorporating direct customer feedback.

• Build secure, reliable infrastructure for handling clinical information at scale.

• Own critical backend systems and guide their technical evolution.

• Scale architecture to support customer onboarding and business growth.

What We're Looking For

• Five or more years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role, with zero to one year of professional backend development experience.

• Experience shipping production software or systems and proficiency in Python.

• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or a similar tool.

• Understanding of prompt engineering and a strong record of meaningful contributions to public code repositories.

• Currently employed in a role at an established organization.

• Interest in building impactful healthcare products and working with clinical information.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $120,000 to $250,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
