Junior Backend Engineer

About the Role

Join a healthcare technology engineering team building AI-powered backend systems to reduce administrative work and help patients access care. You will contribute to product development and reliable processing of clinical information.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy backend systems that process high-volume data through APIs.

• Use customer feedback to inform product improvements from planning through delivery.

• Build secure, reliable infrastructure for handling clinical information.

• Take ownership of backend infrastructure and contribute to its technical evolution.

• Scale systems to support customer onboarding and organizational growth.

What We're Looking For

• Zero to one year of professional backend software development experience.

• Proficiency in Python and experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.

• Understanding of prompt engineering and a strong record of meaningful GitHub contributions.

• Currently employed in a role at an established organization.

• Interest in building impactful healthcare products and availability for in-person work five days per week.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $120,000 to $250,000. Visa sponsorship is available.
