Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal | Jewellery Design & Manufacturing

We are a jewellery manufacture and workshop specialising in the design, development and manufacture of high-end jewellery. We are looking for an organised, proactive and discreet professional to coordinate projects and support the management team.

Applications from candidates across Europe are welcome. Relocation support will be provided to help the successful candidate move to Portugal and settle in.

Key responsibilities

* Coordinate jewellery projects from initial design and development through to manufacturing and delivery;

* Follow the different stages of product design, development, prototyping and production;

* Monitor schedules, deadlines, client requirements and project priorities;

* Act as the link between clients, management, design and production teams, and suppliers;

* Follow up on prototypes, client approvals, production progress and deliveries;

* Manage relationships with international clients and respond to their requests;

* Prepare project documents, presentations, meeting notes and client updates;

* Support the management team with calendars, meetings, correspondence and travel arrangements;

* Handle confidential information with discretion and attention to detail.

Candidate profile

* Degree or qualification in Languages, International Relations, Arts, Design or a related field;

* At least two years’ professional experience in project coordination, client management or a similar role;

* Fluent spoken and written French and English are essential;

* Intermediate to good Portuguese is sufficient;

* An interest in jewellery design and manufacturing is an advantage;

* Experience in jewellery, luxury goods, design or manufacturing is an advantage;

* Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills;

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

* A strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and attention to detail.
