Manager Maintenance Planning & Technical Records Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea Industry: Aviation Employment Type: Full Time Department: Continuing Airworthiness Management Group (CAMG) Job Title Manager Maintenance Planning & Technical Records Job Overview Our client is seeking an experienced aviation maintenance planning professional to lead the Maintenance Planning and Technical Records function within its Continuing Airworthiness Management Group (CAMG). The successful candidate will oversee aircraft maintenance planning, technical records, maintenance forecasting, work pack management and compliance with approved maintenance programmes while ensuring maximum fleet availability and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead the Maintenance Planning and Technical Records department Oversee scheduled maintenance work packs Maintain and update approved maintenance programmes Manage aircraft maintenance forecasting Ensure maintenance tracking software remains accurate and current Coordinate aircraft maintenance planning with Operations and Engineering Liaise with MRO providers and subcontractors Monitor deferred defects and MEL items Review completed work packs and technical records Participate in operational planning meetings Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements Produce aircraft maintenance status reports Support continuous airworthiness activities Requirements Significant airline maintenance planning experience Strong knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness Management Experience with aircraft maintenance planning software Understanding of approved maintenance programmes Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders Experience within commercial airline operations preferred Benefits Net Salary: AUD $80,000 Company accommodation Annual leave International working environment Long-term career opportunity Relocation assistance
