Technical Services Engineer – Airframe Structures Salary: AUD $65,000 per annum (Net) Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea Industry: Aviation Engineering Employment Type: Full Time Job Title Technical Services Engineer – Airframe Structures Job Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Airframe Structures Engineer to join its Continuing Airworthiness Management Group (CAMG). The successful candidate will provide technical engineering support for structural and mechanical aircraft systems, ensuring ongoing airworthiness, regulatory compliance and technical support for the airline's fleet. The role requires extensive experience in aircraft structures, maintenance engineering and continued airworthiness management. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with CASA PNG, CASA Australia, EASA, FAA and Transport Canada requirements Review Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins Perform Maintenance Data Assessments Investigate structural defects and maintenance issues Provide engineering support to maintenance teams Develop and evaluate aircraft modifications Analyse maintenance trends and structural defects Liaise with aircraft manufacturers and engineering vendors Support aircraft induction projects Assist with Continuing Airworthiness information systems Provide technical support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations Support reliability and engineering programmes Requirements Extensive aircraft engineering experience Strong background in airframe structures Experience within commercial airline engineering Knowledge of continuing airworthiness regulations Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong communication skills Engineering qualification preferred Airline engineering experience highly desirable Benefits Net Salary: AUD $65,000 Company accommodation Annual leave International aviation environment Career development opportunities Relocation assistance
