Learn more at https://guideposteducation.com/ or https://guidepostmontessori.hk/ Mandarin Program Manager APAC Program Team · Guidepost Global Education This role sits within the GGE APAC Program team and serves as the dedicated specialist for Mandarin program quality across the network. It is designed to ensure Mandarin-language Guides receive consistent, standards-aligned mentorship and that Mandarin program content is developed, documented, and deployed with precision across all APAC regions. Why This Role Matters Mandarin-language Guides across the APAC network receive structured, consistent mentorship grounded in Guidepost program standards, closing a gap that currently has no dedicated owner. Mandarin program content is developed, documented, and adapted for regional delivery contexts, reducing reliance on individual expertise and building long-term program consistency. A qualified, internally grown candidate steps into a Shared Services role, maintaining program continuity in the classroom while expanding the network's Mandarin program capability. HK Mandarin program mentorship is delivered with on-ground presence, supporting Renee and HK school teams directly during the 25% on-ground component of the role. SS Programs Scope and Responsibilities Organized into four areas of work, each with specific responsibilities, and a clear output. 01 · Mandarin Program Development • Develop and document Mandarin program content aligned with Asia Programs SS frameworks and Guidepost program principles. • Adapt centrally-defined program standards and materials for Mandarin-medium delivery contexts across APAC. • Identify gaps between current Mandarin program delivery and network standards; propose solutions with Asia Programs SS. • Contribute to Mandarin onboarding modules on Atlas for new Mandarin-language Guides. • Support rollout of new program frameworks by preparing Mandarin-specific environment guides and material references. What this role delivers A growing library of Mandarin program content and standards documentation that enables consistent delivery across the APAC network, reducing dependency on individual expertise. Ongoing; peaks ahead of new program launches and academic-year transitions 02 · Network Mandarin Guide Mentorship • Provide structured remote mentorship to Mandarin-language Guides across the APAC network outside of HK. • Deliver written, structured feedback on Guide development progress against centrally-defined program standards. • Support Regional Program Leads in using Normalization, Program Alignment, and MAP data to prioritize mentorship and flag systemic issues across regions. • Identify network-wide Mandarin Guide development patterns; escalate systemic concerns to Asia Programs SS. What this role delivers Mandarin Guides across the APAC network receive regular, standards-aligned development support, not limited to HK, with data-informed prioritization and clear escalation pathways. Year-round; intensity varies by region and assessment cycle 03 · Training and Adult Learning • Develop and facilitate Mandarin-medium training modules and short-courses based on regional needs validated with Asia Programs SS. • Support RPL and HOS onboarding of new Mandarin Guides using Programs SS frameworks. • Conduct field visits for Mandarin Guides in PMI or other active adult learning programs. • Attend regular training and alignment sessions with Asia Programs SS. What this role delivers A trained, well-supported Mandarin Guide cohort across APAC, with Mandarin-medium content available for onboarding and ongoing development. Year-round; peaks at residency sessions and start-of-year onboarding cycles 04 · Standards and Assessment • Apply and promote Guidepost program quality metrics (Normalization, Program Alignment, MAP) within Mandarin program contexts. • Monitor Mandarin program quality data across the network and report observations to Asia Programs SS and RPL. • Contribute to the development of Mandarin-specific quality review tools as needed. What this role delivers Clear, timely data on Mandarin program quality across the network — feeding into RPL and Programs SS decision-making. Ongoing; peaks at quarterly assessment cycles Hong Kong RPL Scope Organized into one area of work with specific responsibilities, and a clear output. 01 · On-Ground HK Mandarin Program Support • Provide structured in-class mentorship to Mandarin-language Guides across HK campuses. • Deliver written, structured feedback on Guide development progress against centrally-defined program standards. • Support the HK Regional Program Lead in using Normalization, Program Alignment, and MAP data to prioritize mentorship and flag concerns. • Support HK Mandarin lesson planning and TC record-keeping. • Escalate health, safety, or safeguarding concerns promptly per Guidepost policy. What this role delivers Mandarin Guides on HK campuses receive consistent, on-ground mentorship and structured development support — with direct collaboration with the HK RPL and school teams. ~25% of role; concentrated in HK with regular campus presence Qualifications Required • AMI, AMS or MACTE-accredited Montessori credential at EC level; EC + IT desirable • Minimum 5 years of in-class teaching experience post-certification, with at least 3 years consecutive • Native or near-native Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written); strong English communication skills • Full alignment with Guidepost program standards and practices • Experience in adult learning, coaching, or mentorship of Guides Preferred • Bilingual (Mandarin and English) with experience delivering Montessori in both languages • Teaching or mentorship experience within Guidepost Montessori network • Familiarity with Transparent Classroom, Program Alignment tools, or MAP • Willingness to adjust work hours, location, or schedule to meet organizational needs • Relocation to Hong Kong; relocation support available for strong candidates
