Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dublin for a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Physiotherapist at Physiofusion Dublin. The immediate requirement is for a two month locum from January 2026 but with scope for progression into a permanent role. This job involves assessing clients with lymphatic and related conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering manual lymphatic drainage and complementary physiotherapy interventions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting thorough clinical assessments, documenting treatment progress, educating clients on self-management, compression and exercise, and coordinating care with other clinicians within the team. The physiotherapist will provide high-quality, evidence-based care, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to the clinic’s standards through regular case reviews and professional development. The role also includes supporting a positive client experience through clear communication, empathetic care, and collaboration with administrative staff to ensure smooth appointment scheduling and follow-up.

Qualifications

Relevant professional qualification in Physiotherapy and holding current CORU registration.
Dr Vodder trained or other specialised training and experience in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and management of lymphoedema or related conditions.
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, explain treatment plans clearly, and educate clients on home care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a supportive, client-centered clinic culture.
Good organizational and time-management skills, including managing caseloads, follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records.
Minimum of three years’ post-qualification clinical experience including a CPD portfolio that reflects additional interest in MLD and related topics.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and development of the MLD service within Physiofusion.
