Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to develop a long-term, community-based practice at a regional campus. The role emphasizes continuity of care, strong patient and provider relationships, and a sustainable practice supported by a broad oncology network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered oncology care within a team-based environment, supported by advanced technology and multidisciplinary staff.
- Collaborate with established medical oncologists across a comprehensive network for shared responsibilities.
- Utilize an integrated EMR system with decision-support tools to enhance efficiency.
- Engage in optional activities such as teaching, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Board Certified or Eligible in Medical Oncology.
- Strong commitment to community oncology and relationship-based care.
- Interest in working within a large, integrated cancer program with a focus on long-term practice sustainability.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Part of a Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited Cancer Center.
- Supportive team including APPs, nurses, navigators, pharmacists, social workers, and research staff.
- Potential faculty appointment at a medical school, with no academic pressure.
