An academic medical center in Knoxville is seeking a neurologist with interests in Multiple Sclerosis and Memory Disorders to join its growing neuroscience program. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity with no inpatient responsibilities and no hospital call, offering an excellent work/life balance, flexible scheduling, and the ability to build a subspecialty-focused practice.
Subspecialists with interests in MS/neuroimmunology and memory disorders will be welcomed and well supported within the context of an outpatient neurology practice. The incoming neurologist will have the support of an established neurology department, an existing MS program, and a dedicated Alzheimer’s and memory disorders center.
Position Highlights
The neuroscience program provides a strong platform for neurologists interested in subspecialty growth, clinical care, education, and research. The memory disorders program is focused on advancing patient care, family support, research, education, outreach, and treatment for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
The incoming neurologist will also have support from a strong academic neurology team, including specialists in behavioral neurology, movement disorders, stroke neurology, and multiple sclerosis.
