Their work spans growth sectors such as data centres, life sciences, industrial manufacturing and power. With a strong pipeline of work for the next 5+ years, they are known for an innovative, collaborative and performance-focused culture, and for developing their people. As their Nordics business grows, they are looking for experienced Project Managers from mechanical, electrical and CSA (civil, structural and architectural) backgrounds to lead delivery on major projects in the region.
Responsibilities
This is a senior delivery role. You will take full ownership of your discipline's scope on a large, technically complex project, from handover through to final account. You will lead your site team, subcontractors and supply chain to deliver safely, on programme, on budget and to the highest quality standards. The client is recruiting across three disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical and CSA. Applications are welcome from any of these backgrounds.
- Lead the handover of the project from estimating to the construction team.
- Develop the project business plan, cost control, cashflow and billing schedules.
- Produce the procurement plan, design plan, construction programme, S-curve and histogram.
- Mobilise subcontractors, labour and site establishment.
- Manage the site team in the day-to-day running of site activities.
- Hold weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and attend client and design team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with programme, deliveries, engineering, quality and safety requirements.
- Control cost and sales with the Quantity Surveyor and keep the client informed.
- Monitor productivity and report monthly to the Operations Manager.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to manage interfaces between trades.
- Oversee testing, commissioning and handover, including O&M manuals and record drawings.
- Agree the final account and produce the project close-out report.
Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Civil/Structural Engineering, or a strong senior trades background.
