Mid-Level Software Engineer

About the Role

Join an AI/ML product engineering team building customer-facing software and the distributed systems behind it. You will help create reliable product experiences for agent research and improve consistency across client and server systems.

What You'll Do

• Build user interfaces for agent research traces.

• Turn team-wide processes into reusable skills and shared practices.

• Debug connectivity between client and server state to improve product consistency.

• Define models that standardize API contracts.

• Triage production issues and conduct root cause analysis to maintain product stability.

• Design, build, and deploy customer-facing features and production infrastructure as a hands-on contributor.

What We're Looking For

• Two to five years of software engineering experience, with a track record of contributing to medium and large projects and leading implementation on at least one medium-scale project.

• Experience shipping customer-facing web features end to end, including React and TypeScript interfaces and the APIs and services behind them.

• Proficiency in Go and experience building or operating distributed systems in production.

• Production experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Pub/Sub, and RPC. Familiarity with S3 and Temporal is relevant.

• Experience designing and deploying production infrastructure, debugging high-traffic products, and making thoughtful build-versus-dependency decisions.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to support peers with technical questions and debugging.

• Familiarity with TanStack Query or Router, WebSockets, or Zustand is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $200,000 to $280,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
