As we
continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic
Mid QA Automation Engineer
to
join our team.
Responsibilities
:
Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests and the company’s test automation framework for web and mobile applications.
Design and execute automated test cases to ensure product functionality, reliability, usability, and performance.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
Prepare and maintain test environments, test data, and the infrastructure required for automated testing.
Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and improve overall test coverage.
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test execution, and reporting activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Investigate test failures and defects, identify root causes, and support their effective resolution.
Promote QA best practices and contribute to improving automation processes, tools, and overall testing capabilities.
Requirements
BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
Experience with web automation frameworks such as Selenium or JavaScript-based automation tools.
Experience with API testing and automation using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Good understanding of test automation methodologies and software testing best practices.
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and defect-tracking tools such as JIRA.
Working knowledge of SQL and scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
Familiarity with Linux environments and the ability to investigate complex issues and identify root causes.
Nice
to have
:
Experience with Docker and containerised environments.
Familiarity with Python web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or similar.
