About the role

We are looking for an experienced Nanny / Governess to join a private UHNW family in Dubai. You will provide hands-on childcare and support the education, development and wellbeing of two children.

This is a sole-charge role. You will independently manage the children's daily routines, plan appropriate activities that support their learning and growth, and travel internationally with the family as required.

The family places equal weight on practical childcare and educational support. Governess qualifications and SEN experience are a plus, but strong hands-on nannying is the priority.

What you'll be doing

Childcare and routines

• Provide hands-on, sole-charge care for both children day to day.
• Manage daily routines, including mealtimes, bedtimes and school or nursery runs.
• Set clear, consistent boundaries in line with the parents' approach.
• Keep the parents updated on the children's wellbeing, progress and any concerns.

Education and development

• Plan and organise appropriate daily activities that support learning, growth and wellbeing.
• Support the 5-year-old with early literacy, phonics, reading, numeracy and school readiness.
• Introduce the 3-year-old to early learning through play, books, language, music and sensory activities.
• Reinforce school and nursery learning at home, adapting activities to each child's needs.
• Organise enrichment such as outings, sports, arts, cultural activities and playdates.

International travel

• Travel internationally with the family as required.
• Keep the children's routines, learning and behaviour consistent while away.
• Prepare travel-friendly activities and resources, and adapt to changing schedules and time zones.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Proven experience as a Nanny or Nanny / Governess with young children.
• Able to independently manage children's daily care, education and development from newborn to 8 years
• Confident planning and running appropriate daily activities that support learning and wellbeing.
• Comfortable with sole-charge responsibility and the household's working pattern (6 days, approx. 12 hours a day).
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring, professional approach.
• Fluent English.
• Strong references from private families and a stable work history.
• Genuine interest in a long-term role and flexibility to travel internationally.

Desirable

• Experience within UHNW or high-profile private households.
• Formal governess, early years or education qualifications.
• SEN training or practical SEN experience.
• Previous experience in the Dubai
• Recent experience caring for children of similar ages (3–5).

No specific nationality is required. Relevant experience and suitability are the priority.
