Job Description 8allocate is a global provider of end-to-end custom software development solutions to companies all over the globe, from North America to the EU to Israel to Australia. Headquartered in Estonia, we run offshore R&D centers in Kyiv and Lviv. Our team is 50% remote and distributed. We specialize in flexible interaction exclusively with international clients (we cover industries from commercial aviation to fintech) thanks to a multinational support group of experts and management. Currently, we are looking for an Operation Team Member. About the project: the low latency platform which is an advanced trading platform for testing, creating, and executing proprietary strategies and algorithms. With the technology’s powerful API and supporting trading tools, traders bring their algorithms quickly to the market . What responsibilities & tasks will wait for you? Main: Respond to clients’ requests, assist and troubleshoot. More tasks: Validate broker beginning of day files and compare to exchanges; Search and add any new IPO to the system; Check and add dividends to the system; Start the servers on a daily basis; QA — test new features and clients requests; Onboarding of new clients. What skills/qualities are required: Experience administering Unix servers; Experience with Linux; Understanding of and experience with networking and IT concepts such as routing, subnetting, ect.; Experience with automated trading systems and the equity market industry; English Advanced; Attentiveness to details stress resistance. Would be a plus: Previous experience in software engineering and/or operational support; Familiarity of Python. Work Schedule: Morning shift 9:30am — 6:30pm. Evening shift 12:00pm — 9:00pm.
