Work Shift Wellstar Health System, one of Georgia's largest and most respected health systems, is seeking board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with a strong interest in acute care neurosurgery to join a high-acuity, multidisciplinary program. This physician will focus on the evaluation and management of emergent and urgent neurosurgical conditions , supporting trauma, stroke, and critical care services across the health system. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment , collaborating closely with emergency medicine, trauma surgery, neurology, and intensive care teams to deliver timely, life-saving interventions. Opportunity Highlights 7 calls days over a 4 week schedule. Acute team surgeons who evaluate and stabilize a patient during call have the first right to schedule that patient as an elective case in their own OR block.
