Eaton’s Power System Division has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Supplier Development Manager at our South Milwaukee, WI facility. ( Relocation is offered)
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

What you’ll do:
Position Summary:
The Plant Supplier Development Manager is responsible for partnering with division supplier development team on improving plant specific supplier performance, capability, capacity, risk management, and supply continuity across Eaton's strategic supply base, focused primarily on critical suppliers supporting Eaton South Milwaukee operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between Eaton South Milwaukee and strategic suppliers to drive operational excellence, supplier readiness, delivery performance, resiliency, and long-term supplier development. The position partners closely with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to support business growth and customer commitments.
• Own supplier performance across on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity readiness, productivity, risk management, and supply continuity.
• Lead supplier business reviews, scorecards, KPI reviews, and performance action plans.
• Develop strategic supplier roadmaps aligned to growth, sourcing, and manufacturing objectives.
• Conduct supplier capacity assessments, readiness reviews, and scalability evaluations.
• Lead supplier recovery efforts for constrained or underperforming suppliers.
• Monitor supplier investment, expansion, and operational capability plans.
• Drive supplier productivity and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve flow, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Identify and mitigate supplier risks through proactive assessment and contingency planning.
• Serve as the escalation point for major supplier performance issues.
• Support new product introductions, production ramp-ups, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field from an accredited institution is required.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Supplier Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or Operational Excellence is required
- Relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates that currently reside or are willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading performance improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience evaluating capacity, operational performance, and supply risk.
- Experience and well versed in data analytics and tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
- Lean Manufacturing certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience leading supplier assessment and business reviews.
- Experience leading supplier recovery initiatives.
- SAP experience.
- Experience supporting new product introductions and supplier readiness programs.
- Experience within industrial, electrical, power systems, or engineered products manufacturing

Location and Travel Requirements:
• Location: South Milwaukee (not hybrid or remote)
• Ability to travel up to 25% domestically with occasional international travel.
