Primary Care NP / PA | $140K + Bonus | Loan Forgiveness | 4-Day Week | New Grads Welcome

An independently owned primary care practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is hiring FNPs and PAs for outpatient family medicine. The benefits are hard to find together: a four-day workweek, student loan forgiveness through Rural Health Clinic designation, a $5,000 relocation bonus, and total compensation up to $140,000 plus monthly and annual bonuses. You’ll work Monday through Thursday and get a three-day weekend every week, with no hospital rounding, no inpatient duties, and no overnight call. The practice is looking for providers with 1 to 2+ years of NP or PA experience who already live in the Cape Girardeau area or are ready to relocate and make it home. New graduates with strong RN or clinical backgrounds are still considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, wellness visits, and preventive care
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics, and prescribe per state law
• Work with an in-house team: behavioral health, dietitian, lab, and clinical support
• Build long-term relationships with a returning patient panel

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited FNP program with national certification (AANP or ANCC), or PA program with NCCPA certification
• Active Missouri APRN or PA license, or willing to obtain one
• DEA registration, or able to obtain
• 1–2+ years of NP or PA experience preferred; new graduates with strong hands-on RN or clinical experience considered
• Must live in the Cape Girardeau area or be fully committed to relocating there (a daily long-distance commute isn’t a fit for this role)
• Motivated, team-oriented, and good with patients

Schedule & Compensation

• $115,000–$140,000/year (base plus monthly and annual bonuses)
• Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts | Monday–Thursday
• Three-day weekends every week | No nights | No call
• Outpatient only | Onsite in Cape Girardeau, MO
• Student loan forgiveness: loans paid in full (3 years if under $100K, 5 years if over)
