About the Role
Join an AI hardware team developing CMOS chips for probabilistic computing. You will lead analog and mixed-signal design for upcoming chip tape-outs, working across IC, systems, physics, and algorithms teams to turn new computing concepts into silicon.
What You'll Do
Design analog and mixed-signal blocks such as ADCs, PLLs, bandgaps, regulators, high-speed SerDes, oscillators, and dividers.
Own major parts of chip architecture and potentially lead design for an upcoming chip.
Perform hands-on layout and design verification, including DRC, ERC, and LVS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement probabilistic computing concepts in silicon.
Help test and validate fabricated chips using lab equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of relevant experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
Experience designing mixed-signal blocks such as PLLs, SerDes, ADCs, or oscillators, with strong CMOS circuit design expertise.
Multiple completed tape-outs, ideally using FinFET or 28nm/65nm process nodes.
An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, focused on circuits or IC design.
Proficiency with Cadence simulation, including PEX, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.
Hands-on layout experience beyond design review.
Ability to work on-site in Boston or relocate there.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is $200,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
