About the Role
Lead analog and mixed-signal design for a semiconductor team developing chips for probabilistic computing. You will shape chip architecture and work across engineering disciplines to bring new computing concepts into silicon.
What You'll Do
Design analog and mixed-signal blocks, including ADCs, PLLs, bandgaps, regulators, SerDes, oscillators, and dividers.
Own significant parts of chip architecture and potentially lead design for an upcoming chip.
Perform hands-on layout and design verification, including DRC, ERC, and LVS.
Collaborate with IC, systems, physics, and algorithms teams to translate computing concepts into silicon implementations.
Help test and validate fabricated chips using lab equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of relevant analog or mixed-signal engineering experience.
Experience with CMOS design and tools such as Cadence, plus familiarity with FinFET processes.
Background designing blocks such as PLLs, ADCs, or SerDes, and experience with layout and verification workflows.
Comfort working across design, architecture, and lab validation in a hands-on team environment.
Python and C experience, with an interest in probabilistic computing or related hardware domains.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $200,000 to $325,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
