About the Role

Join a small engineering team building software for a venture capital and startup ecosystem organization. You'll work across product, engineering, and operations to turn complex workflows into useful tools for internal teams and founders, owning solutions from problem definition through launch.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and ship full-stack applications for admissions, events, and internal operations.

  • Develop event tools for registration, coordination, and media handling.

  • Integrate with services such as calendars, messaging, and email to support team workflows.

  • Build AI and search features, including semantic search, embeddings, and natural-language interfaces.

  • Automate admissions workflows such as scheduling, notifications, status tracking, and email triage.

  • Create dashboards and analytics, and work with partners and operations teams to improve processes.

  • Make product and UX decisions directly, balancing quality and speed in a changing environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 1 to 12 years of experience building and shipping full-stack products, with ownership of problem definition, UI, and deployment.

  • Experience building both backend systems and polished user interfaces, using Rails, React, PostgreSQL, or equivalent technologies.

  • Recent experience building AI or LLM projects or product features; familiarity with Python, semantic search, or embeddings is useful.

  • Startup or early-stage company experience, including founding experience, and comfort working autonomously without detailed roadmaps.

  • Experience with internal tools, workflow systems, or admissions and CRM-style software is relevant.

  • Strong computer science fundamentals, demonstrated through a degree or exceptional projects, and comfort working in person with a small, collaborative team.
