Product Engineer, Mid-Senior

About the Role

Join a product engineering team applying AI agents and frontier models to a workforce and operations marketplace. You will build products that automate sourcing, vetting, matching, and shift fulfillment, while also taking on other high-priority product and platform work.

What You'll Do

• Integrate existing agents and language models into worker, business, and operations products to automate real workflows.

• Own product features end to end, from API design and user experience through deployment and ongoing improvements.

• Build and scale systems for real-time matching, automated vetting, distributed workflows, and marketplace operations.

• Partner with product, design, and technical leadership to shape priorities, architecture, and roadmap.

• Lead projects, mentor engineers, and deliver reliable software in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

What We're Looking For

• Three or more years of software engineering experience, including ownership of products or features at an early-stage or fast-growing company.

• Experience shipping software at scale with speed, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating across teams.

• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or agents into production products, including prompt design and tool integration.

• Experience with TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and/or PostgreSQL.

• Strong product judgment and a track record of connecting engineering work to user needs and business outcomes.

• A technical degree or equivalent strong computer science fundamentals, plus experience in areas such as AI, marketplaces, matching systems, staffing, or operational software.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $140,000 to $200,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in New York, New York, five days per week.
