Product Engineer, Mid-Senior

About the Role

Join a product engineering team at a Series A/B AI-powered staffing marketplace, applying AI agents and frontier models to real workflows across an industrial staffing and operations platform. You will work across the product stack to build reliable automation and other high-impact product features.

What You'll Do

• Apply existing agents and AI models across worker, business, and operations products to improve vetting, matching, and fulfillment.

• Lead frontend and backend development, and mentor other engineers.

• Design and build APIs, distributed systems, real-time matching, and automated vetting pipelines.

• Own product features from design through deployment, partnering closely with product and design.

• Collaborate with technical leadership on architecture and roadmap, adapting to changing product priorities.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 3 to 4 years of software engineering experience owning products or features on early-stage teams.

• Experience shipping scalable products in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and delivering measurable business impact.

• Strong product judgment and the ability to identify user problems and opportunities across an organization.

• Experience with TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience integrating LLMs or agents into production products, including prompting and tool integration, ideally with 0-to-1 agentic AI products.

• Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, and deployment, with strong technical fundamentals.

• Interest or experience in marketplaces, matching systems, staffing, or operational workflows for industrial businesses.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $140,000 to $200,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
