Senior / Staff Product Engineer

About the Role

Join a product engineering team building AI-powered software for financial crime compliance at banks and fintechs. You will develop customer-facing products that help compliance teams review cases more efficiently, with a high level of ownership from discovery through production.

What You'll Do

• Own product features end to end, from customer discovery and requirements gathering to deployment and iteration.

• Build AI-driven workflows that coordinate tools and data services for AML, sanctions, and KYC reviews while keeping people involved in decisions.

• Create interfaces for case management, reporting, analytics, and workflow configuration.

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand compliance needs and turn them into practical technical solutions.

• Build and maintain production software across APIs, backend services, databases, and frontend applications.

• Develop new product capabilities, scale existing features, and support enterprise implementations.

What We're Looking For

• Three to six years of product software engineering experience, including building products from the ground up for real customers.

• Full-stack experience with React and Node.js with TypeScript or Python.

• Experience shipping production AI or LLM features, such as agents or LLM-powered workflows, used by customers.

• Experience building APIs and working with databases, ideally PostgreSQL or Supabase.

• Strong product judgment, customer communication skills, and the ability to work with substantial independence in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience at a high-growth startup, strong technical fundamentals, and familiarity with financial services, regulated industries, or workflow orchestration frameworks are valuable.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $200,000 to $270,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
