THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE


Santander Digital is looking for a Project Manager based out of Milton Keynes.


This role is on a fixed term contract for 12 months.


You will be a project manager for multiple projects within the TSB migration programme.


We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:


  • Responsible for the smooth implementation of new products, services and functions by understanding the impact of change and anticipating risks and issues.
  • Considers the potential risks associated with of suggestions and recommendations made around business requirements and project solutions, escalating where required.
  • Leads effective engagement with project team members and stakeholders in support of robust and successful project outputs.
  • Drives for customer satisfaction through appropriate engagement and endorsement from management, project team members and business stakeholders with regards to proposals and recommendations.
  • Provides challenge and scrutiny around selection of the chosen approach and delivery of the change in support of a successful outcome for the business.
  • Plays a key role in determining and agreeing the best method of introducing recommendations to the business.
  • Uses data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.

Professional Experience:


  • Solid knowledge of investigation techniques, business process modelling, requirements development and impact assessment (Required)
  • Excellent analytical and modelling skills, analytical mindset, evidence-based approach (Required)
  • Experience managing project resources in a matrix environment (Required)
  • Experience operating in a project / programme environment, working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and meeting deadlines (Required)
  • Problem solving skills (breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, vetting assumptions, create frameworks, testing hypotheses) (Required)
  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with project timeframes (Required)

Soft Skills:


  • Direct management of project resources may be required in this role, and matrix management outside formal line management structures (Preferred)
  • Able to build rapport and establish credibility at all levels (Required)
  • Able to plan and prioritise workloads for any team members in support of project deadlines (Required)
  • Able to work independently with limited guidance from project manager / sponsor (Required)

Salary Range:


£49,274.00 - £73,912.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
