Registered Nurse - Family Birth Center

We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care across various settings, supporting professional nursing practice and ensuring quality care delivery.

The RN will coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and transitions of care, within the Mayo Nursing Care Model, and support activities such as mentoring, leadership, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities Include

• Planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care.
• Delegating patient care based on skill, experience, and patient needs.
• Supporting patient and family education and ensuring safe care transitions.
• Participating in committees or projects and supporting a team-oriented environment.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduate of a registered nursing program; Baccalaureate degree preferred within five years of RN start date.
• Current MN RN license and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of RN or LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and teaching skills.
  
  

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship, requiring licensure and certification completion.

Additional details: Full-time, nonexempt position with 12-hour night shifts, holiday rotation, and every third weekend schedule. Compensation varies based on union contract, and benefits are provided.
