Role: The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating patient care, including direct care, patient/family education, and care transitions. They support professional nursing practices across various settings, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care.
Key Duties: Planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of nursing care; providing leadership through mentorship, committee participation, and quality improvement; delegating tasks based on skill, acuity, and resources; and supporting a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications: Must have a nursing program graduate, current RN licensure, BLS certification, and possibly additional state licenses or certifications. Preferred experience includes one year in an applicable care setting or as an LPN at the organization. Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills are essential.
Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication, mentoring ability, adaptability to unpredictable situations, leadership qualities, and effective collaboration. Ability to work flexible hours and participate in quality improvement initiatives is required.
Additional Information: The role is eligible for TN sponsorship, with requirements for state licensure and certification. Compensation rewards experience and education, with benefits including health plans, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. This is a full-time, nonexempt position.
