Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care within outpatient settings, primarily in the operating room or Pre/Post Op areas. The RN may be trained in additional roles for cross-coverage based on patient needs.

Responsibilities include: Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; educating patients and families; coordinating perioperative and perianesthesia care; and administering moderate sedation under supervision. The RN also supports professional practice, mentors colleagues, and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience. Baccalaureate degree in nursing required within five years if starting after April 2020. Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills are essential. Valid RN license and BLS certification are required, with additional certifications as needed.
