Respiratory Therapist Ocala, FL Full-Time Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends) Pay: $29.56 to $40.65/hr (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 Relocation: Case by Case Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a collaborative acute care team in Ocala, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of patient populations, providing advanced respiratory therapy to support critical and non-critical care patients in a dynamic hospital environment. Candidates with CRT credentials and recent acute care experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients of all ages. Manage and operate acute care ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical ventilation. Perform arterial blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation. Evaluate patient responses to therapy and adjust care plans accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and therapy provided. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal respiratory care outcomes. Follow all departmental and hospital safety and compliance protocols. Qualifications Required: Florida-licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligibility for state licensure. At least 1 year of recent acute care RRT experience (within the past year). Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). Preferred: CRT credential with relevant hospital experience. ACLS certification. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
