Summary Of The Rheumatologist Role

Seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a well-established, growing academic practice.

  • Responsibilities: Provide ambulatory outpatient care, on-call consultative services (in-person and virtual), and participate in specialty clinics such as Systemic Lupus, Difficult-to-treat RA, Gout, and USS-guided procedures.
  • Teaching & Research: Educate medical students, residents, and fellows; engage in clinical, translational, and trial-based research; participate in fellowship programs and leadership roles.
  • Qualifications & Skills: Board-certified or eligible in Rheumatology; experience is a plus but not required. Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills are valued.

Key Duties & Opportunities: Clinical care, teaching, research, leadership within divisions, involvement with ACGME, and academic appointment options.
