RN Transitional Care Unit Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our brand new Transitional Care Unit. Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Schedule: Full Time - Nights - 36 hours per week Unit Summary Exciting new department at Medical Center Temple offering the opportunity to work in a fast pace ever changing patient care environment. You never experience the same day twice! This 10-bed nursing unit provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment working with multiple patients requiring a variety of care needs. The goal for these patients is to diagnose, monitor and treat patients within 36 hours. If you are an experienced Med/Surg RN (Registered Nurse) this is a great place to use all of your skills! If you like to be busy and enjoy a challenging fast pace this is the department for you! Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. A current and valid nursing license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
