Senior Agent Product Engineer

About the Role

Join a product and engineering team at a Series B AI company building agentic software for sales teams. You will work directly with customers to deploy AI agents, improve their performance, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and iterate on agents for account strategy, prospecting, outreach, call preparation, and follow-up.

• Work closely with customers through calls and shared collaboration channels, turning feedback into product improvements.

• Build production agents that automate nuanced sales workflows, with strong evaluations, trust calibration, and learning capabilities.

• Own deployments end to end, troubleshoot complex customer environments, and take accountability for customer outcomes.

• Communicate agent capabilities to sales teams, customer needs to engineering, and deployment progress to leadership.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of full-stack or product engineering experience, ideally including customer-facing deployments; 5 or more years is preferred.

• Experience building and shipping production AI agents or agentic workflows for external users, including prompt engineering, tool use, evaluation, and trust calibration.

• Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.

• Experience embedding with customers, troubleshooting ambiguous technical environments, and shipping code rather than only configuring existing platforms.

• Strong communication across business, technical, and executive audiences, plus the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and experience at an AI team or growth-stage technology company; technical founder or early engineering experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with sales or go-to-market workflows is helpful.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $215,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California, United States, with at least three days per week in the office.
