Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

Join the engineering team at an AI analytics company building tools that make business intelligence more accessible. In this senior backend role, you will work across the product and help deliver scalable, reliable systems for data-intensive analytical workloads.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale data pipelines for latency-critical analytical workloads.

• Contribute across the codebase and product rather than working in a narrow silo.

• Partner with engineering, product, company leadership, and customers to shape the product and engineering roadmap.

• Design secure, cost-efficient, scalable systems on modern cloud infrastructure.

• Help shape the engineering culture and technology choices as the team grows.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of backend engineering experience in product, platform, or infrastructure engineering.

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with experience building or operating large-scale data pipelines.

• Strong computer science or quantitative fundamentals, ideally supported by a degree in computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, or mathematics.

• Experience in a startup or other fast-paced engineering environment, with a track record of delivering high-quality systems.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range is $250,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Candidates may be considered with TN status, OPT with at least two H-1B lottery attempts remaining, or an H-1B transfer on a case-by-case basis.
