Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

Join the founding engineering team at a Series A AI analytics company building AI-native business intelligence products. This hands-on role spans the product and codebase, with close collaboration across engineering, product, and customers to deliver scalable analytical systems.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale data pipelines for latency-critical analytical workloads.

• Work across the codebase and product rather than focusing on a single silo.

• Collaborate with engineering and product partners, as well as customers, to shape product and engineering roadmaps.

• Design and build cost-efficient, secure, scalable systems on modern cloud infrastructure.

• Contribute to the engineering culture and technical direction.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of backend engineering experience in product, platform, or infrastructure environments.

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

• Experience building or operating large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure above the hardware layer.

• Strong engineering fundamentals, including a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.

• Experience in a startup or another fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $250,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
