Job Description Summary Lead the commercial proposal process, from initial opportunity assessment to contract finalization. You will be responsible for the development of competitive, compliant, and profitable customer bids. As a subject matter expert, you will manage complex financial modeling and deal strategy to guide management decision-making and mitigate commercial risk. You will be accountable for achieving successful business outcomes through strategic proposal development, robust governance of the commercial risk and approval process, and skillful contract negotiation. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Lead the development of proposals, cost estimates, pricing strategies, and terms and conditions Review / redline customer contracts and negotiate to drive mutually agreeable outcomes Be the primary interface with the Global Sales Team on opportunities within Nuclear Installed Base Coordinate with a cross-functional team consisting of Business Leaders, Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account Managers Develop and present deal structures to Business Leadership for approval Participate with deal team in negotiations with the customer as required Ensure compliance with the GE commercial risk process by acting as a technical and commercial Risk Manager Maintain the GE Customer Relationship Management System (SalesForce) and Cost Estimating tools (FinSum) Support achievement of commercial team and business unit metrics related to the "Inquiry to Order" process Facilitate seamless transition of contracts to the delivery team Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Project Management, Engineering or a related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the Nuclear industry Desired Characteristics: Experience with nuclear refueling outages or related services Experience with customer specification review, proposal development, and/or commercial negotiations Strong oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills with ability to interface at all levels within GEV and customers Experience developing and/or reviewing contracting terms; familiarity with United States Government contracting is a plus Strong overall business knowledge, financial acumen, and analytical skills Experience with risk analysis including mitigation strategies Ability to motivate a team and drive operational rigor Note: The preferred work locations is the Wilmington, NC Headquarters but highly qualified remote candidates will be considered.
