■Recruitment Background
Since its inception, the company has operated as an expert data team, supporting strategic decision-making and building data infrastructures leveraging a wide variety of alternative data.
The scope of support spans multiple domains, with specialized business units providing tailored value to distinct client segments. By combining and synthesizing various alternative datasets, the company delivers a diverse range of data products and services, including:
・Institutional Investor Services: Providing revenue forecasting and price trend analytics for individual companies, tailored for global institutional investors.
・National Economic Analytics: Generating highly accurate statistical insights to support key public and national institutions in Japan.
・Commercial Real Estate Intelligence: Delivering strategic market analytics, including competitor research, local spending rates, and market share estimations.
As these core businesses experience steady growth, the company is accelerating its scale. To expand its analytical capabilities and deliver high-value insights, the organization is actively recruiting Senior Data Scientists (Analytics Engineers).
■Role Overview
By leveraging unique and diverse datasets that traditional economic indicators and market research cannot capture, the company empowers strategic decision-making across a wide range of industries, including real estate, retail, and financial services.
In this role, Analytics Engineers go beyond basic data analysis. They take end-to-end ownership across the entire data lifecycle—ranging from statistical analysis and data platform engineering to product development and enterprise client implementation.
You will be expected to be assigned to one of the following business units based on your background and preferences:

1. Financial Research Business
Serve as a data analysis specialist by leveraging POS, credit card, and other alternative datasets. Key initiatives include:
・Developing revenue trend indices for individual listed companies for institutional investors.
・Building private-sector statistical models for public sector entities.
・Leading data analytics and research projects for government agencies, focusing on data utilization and Generative AI integration.
・Driving regional economic analysis, tourism insights, and consumer spend tracking for local government municipalities.
2. Data AI Service Business
Accelerate enterprise digital transformation (DX) across sales, product development, and data utilization by combining cutting-edge Generative AI technology with proprietary corporate master databases (boasting class-leading coverage in Japan) and diverse third-party datasets.
This division consists of two primary service pillars:
①Real Estate Unit
A business unit providing a suite of data-driven SaaS products primarily for the real estate domain. Leveraging a proprietary Data × AI stack, the unit delivers enterprise-grade products focused mainly on major property developers.
Office Sales (Commercial Real Estate Lead Generation):
A sales support service that utilizes AI and Big Data to identify companies with a high probability of office relocation.
②Data Holder Unit
A strategic initiative aimed at sophistication and modernization of corporate credit assessment and underwriting operations for financial institutions.
By unifying fragmented internal systems using corporate registration numbers as primary keys and integrating diverse third-party datasets, the unit constructs data platforms and scoring algorithms that enable proactive, ongoing credit monitoring—including automated suggestions for credit line increases.
■Responsibilities
・Cross-Industry Problem Solving: Solve complex challenges across diverse sectors—from commercial real estate to public policy and local government—using advanced data analytics.
・Real Estate Domain Analytics & Product Integration: Conduct demand forecasting, trade area analysis, and sales targeting analytics, converting derived insights into proprietary product features.
・Data Engineering & UI/UX Collaboration: Develop data marts and execute backend engineering, collaborating closely with software engineers and product designers to design user-centric interfaces.
・Public Sector Decision Support: Deliver data-driven policy recommendations and strategic insights for central government agencies and local municipalities to drive evidence-based decision-making.

Required
Practical experience as a data analyst, including client-facing and collaborative work
Experience analyzing structured data and building machine learning models using Python
Experience with the full analytical process—from identifying issues to proposing solutions—including requirements definition and the creation of analytical reports
Experience leading multiple analytical projects and driving problem-solving in collaboration with clients and teams
Business-level Japanese proficiency (capable of negotiating with clients and coordinating internally and externally)
Preferred
Master’s degree in science or engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience collaborating with clients on multiple projects to drive problem-solving
Experience working with people-based data (e.g., consumer behavior, customer data)
Experience as a data scientist engaged in advanced model building and predictive analytics
Experience in data engineering and building data infrastructure
Experience building dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
Practical experience with MLOps (operation and management of machine learning models)
Experience in backend development for web applications and similar systems
