Senior Legal Counsel

A leading holding company is looking for an experienced *𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹* to oversee legal affairs across multiple business divisions, providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring robust corporate governance and risk management.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Lead legal advisory, compliance, and risk management across corporate, commercial, real estate, energy, and investment operations.

- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, shareholder agreements, investment contracts, MOUs, and partnership agreements.

- Advise on corporate governance, company structuring, board resolutions, and regulatory compliance.

- Oversee real estate legal matters, property transactions, ownership structures, and RERA compliance.

- Manage litigation, disputes, regulatory matters, and coordination with external legal counsel and authorities.

- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and advise senior management on legal risks and strategic decisions.

- Ensure compliance with applicable DIFC, commercial, employment, investment, and corporate laws and regulations.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲:

- Law degree from a recognised Common Law jurisdiction; a Master's degree in Law is an advantage.

- Minimum 15 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years of relevant experience in Dubai.

- Strong knowledge of DIFC regulations, corporate and commercial law, real estate, investments, and corporate governance.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong command of English; Arabic language skills are preferred.
