About Our Client
Our client are building the future of visual storytelling. Our mission is to empower creators to bringtheir ideas to life through cutting-edge AI image and video generation. We’re at the forefront of a newwave of social media content, where creativity, storytelling, and technology come together.
Ideal Candidate
Who has hands‑on experience with onboarding, pricing or paywalls for consumer / professional products, with proven impact. Able to write copy independently and treat empty states as design briefs. Comfortable with weekly experimentation while upholding high craft standards. Passionate about creators, storytelling, and the moment users create their first work with AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design new user onboarding, first-time user experience, paywalls, upgrade prompts, pricing plans, reward points and checkout flows.
- Optimize users’ first few minutes of experience to help them quickly create satisfying outputs.
- Translate activation, conversion, upsell and retention goals into testable design hypotheses.
- Partner with Growth PMs and data teams to analyze experiment results and iterate.
- Ship winning experiments into official features and reusable design patterns.
Key Qualifications
Hard Skill
- You've moved a revenue or activation metric with design – onboarding, paywalls, pricing, or checkout, with the before and after to show.
- Experiment literacy – hypotheses, variants, sample sizes, and reading a result honestly, including the ones you lose.
- Strong UI craft at speed – a polished variant this week, ten more this month.
- AI in your daily practice – prototyping in code, Claude, Figma Make or similar, with real opinions on where it helps.
Soft Skill
- Data-curious – you want to know what happened, not just whether it shipped.
- Bias to ship – you'd rather learn from a real test than debate a mock.
- Partner to PMs and marketing – you bring the design point of view early.
- Steady – most experiments lose, and you treat that as information, not a verdict.
- Strong communicator – you can explain why a change should convert, not just that it looks better.
Compensation
$150K-$200K salary range · Offers equity · Offers bonus
Approximately $300K-$450K total compensation, including base, bonus and equity.
Location & Work Setup
- Bay Area (full-time, on-site or hybrid)
- High collaboration with founders and global engineering team.
- Visa sponsorship available.
