Senior Scheduler / Planner – T&D / Utility Construction (Columbus, OH)

Scheduler – Utility T&D & Substation

Location: 4249 Easton Way, Columbus, OH 43219
Travel: 25% domestic travel (1xmonth) to project sites

QISG is seeking an experienced Scheduler (mid-Senior level) to support utility Transmission & Distribution and Substation EPC projects. Candidates must have 5+ years of utility scheduling experience in T&D and/or Substation projects, clearly reflected on their resume. This role will develop and maintain resource- and cost-loaded P6 schedules, analyze critical paths, forecast schedule impacts, and partner with project teams to drive successful execution from planning through completion.

• Develop and manage LSM and CPM Primavera P6 schedules for utility transmission, substation, and renewable projects
• Build and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with baselines and execution strategies
• Integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
• Perform critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking
• Identify schedule risks, evaluate sequencing, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Produce earned value metrics, KPIs, and cash flow reports for project controls and executives
• Support look-ahead planning, short-interval schedules, and continuous improvement
• Maintain compliant schedule documentation per contract and company standards

• 5+ years of utility scheduling experience supporting T-Line and/or Substation projects
• Advanced Primavera P6, including cost- and resource-loaded schedules
• Experience with linear scheduling, large-scale sitework, and long-lead equipment planning
• Familiarity with TILOS, Deltek Acumen Fuse/Risk, or similar tools
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
