Senior Software Engineer

Compensation: $230K–$280K + equity
About the Company
Our client is an early-stage, still-in-stealth AI data-infrastructure company building the data-production pipelines that power the world’s leading AI labs, with particular depth in high-value domains like finance. The founding team comes out of a major AI-data company and a frontier AI lab, and the company already partners with top labs on some of the most important capability areas in AI. This is a rare chance to join a small, high-caliber team as an early builder.

The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join as one of a small cohort of early builders, owning the hardest and most ambiguous features end-to-end, making the architectural calls that keep the team shipping fast, and acting as a force multiplier for a lean engineering team.
What you’ll be doing
- Own end-to-end development of the platform that automates data-production pipelines for frontier AI labs
- Make architectural and design decisions independently, raising the bar for how the product looks, feels, and performs
- Act as a technical lead for a small pod of engineers, mentoring and unblocking teammates
- Partner directly with operations to turn high-leverage problems into product solutions
- Use AI coding tools daily to multiply your output while critically evaluating their results
Tech stack: TypeScript · Full-stack (frontend + backend) · AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot)
Requirements
- 5–10 years building full-stack product engineering, with a track record of owning architecture decisions or mentoring other engineers
- Hands-on experience at a startup or small team shipping products from 0→1
- A product-minded builder who talks to users and makes design calls independently
- A CS or technical degree (Math, Physics, Engineering) from a strong program
- A full-stack generalist comfortable working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
- Daily, critically-evaluated use of AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot)
- Clear communicator who works well with non-technical operators and stakeholders
Nice to Haves
- DevOps / infrastructure experience
- Strong product and design taste — you care about how things look and feel
