About the Role
Join the backend engineering team at a consumer gaming technology company and build systems that support engaging player experiences. You will own significant projects, contribute to core business outcomes, and help the engineering team move quickly as it grows.
What You'll Do
Build and ship consumer-facing backend features with measurable impact on business goals.
Develop data-driven systems for challenges such as matchmaking, fraud prevention, and recommendations.
Contribute to real-time features, payment systems, and consumer gaming experiences.
Improve engineering workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and experimentation platforms.
Take ownership of projects from initial development through launch and iteration.
What We're Looking For
Five to eight years of backend software engineering experience, ideally with Go, or the ability to ramp up quickly.
Experience building data-driven systems such as matchmaking, anti-fraud, or recommendation tools.
Background working on real-time features, payments, or consumer gaming applications.
Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines or experimentation platforms.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
Experience in a fast-growing startup or a high engineering-bar environment, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver end-to-end.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform is relevant to the role.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $200,000 to $400,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
