Your future contribution Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead, where you'll play a vital role in the success of HomeToGo. We're looking for an experienced software engineer and team lead to manage one of our Consumer Product teams. Our diverse and modern tech stack includes Symfony, MariaDB, ElasticSearch, Snowflake, Redis, Aerospike, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and more. How you’ll add value Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process Drive the development and execution of technical strategies and initiatives to improve the quality of our product Partner with Product to shape the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of relevant features Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and usability of our Marketplace products Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, and driving operational efficiency Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools across the team Manage project timelines, resources, and priorities to meet business objectives You’ll be successful in this role if you Have 2+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams Are proficient in at least one modern programming language (PHP, JS/TS) and experience with relevant frameworks Have excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, managing competing priorities Have ability to keep the team focused on key initiatives while maintaining operational excellence Are familiar with relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, PostgreSQL) Have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment Are proficient in working with agile projects, setting KPIs, defining and executing OKRs Understand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Are fluent in English What we offer Career of growth opportunities and promotions, 360 feedback, performance evaluation system, and mentoring from an international and distinguished team Culture of empowerment, trust, recognition, autonomy and quarterly transparency about company goals.
