An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing accounting practice in the Newcastle region.

Offering a competitive salary of $140K-$150K + super, this role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional looking to take on greater responsibility, manage client relationships and provide strategic taxation advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and compliance work.
• Provide taxation advice and support clients with tax planning.
• Manage client portfolios and maintain strong client relationships.
• Review work and mentor junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and taxation standards.

About You:

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in Australian public practice.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance.
• Experience managing client portfolios and providing tax advice.
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
