Service Now Consultant

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow solutions, with a strong focus on CMDB, integrations, platform configuration, and custom development. The ideal candidate will have strong ServiceNow scripting and integration experience and be comfortable working with architects, process consultants, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and develop ServiceNow capabilities supporting CMDB implementation.

Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and Flexera for asset and license data.

Develop integrations with NetBox for infrastructure, network, and OT asset data.

Configure Import Sets, Transform Maps, Scheduled Jobs, APIs, and Business Rules.

Implement CI creation, update, reconciliation, and data-handling logic.

Develop and maintain ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript and scripted APIs.

Configure roles, ACLs, groups, access rights, and domain/separation controls.

Troubleshoot integration issues, data mismatches, transformation errors, and platform issues.

Perform development testing, defect resolution, deployment, and stabilization activities.

Prepare technical documentation covering solution design, integration logic, error handling, and support procedures.

Collaborate with architects, process consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.

Support performance tuning, operational handover, and post-go-live activities.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and customization.

Strong knowledge of CMDB, CI classes, CI lifecycle, data loads, and transformation logic.

Experience with REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and scripted APIs.

Strong JavaScript scripting skills within ServiceNow.

Good understanding of ServiceNow security, including ACLs, roles, groups, and domain separation.

Experience with CMDB data quality, reconciliation, and data management.

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Ability to translate architecture and business requirements into deployable ServiceNow solutions.
