Site Interior Design Manager (28,000 - 33,000 AED) - Dubai based - High End Residential Projects - MUST HAVE SITE EXPERIENCE

A leading real estate developer in Dubai is seeking an experienced Site Interior Design Manager to oversee the delivery of interior design works across high-end residential developments.

The successful candidate will act as the key link between the developer’s design team, consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams. You will ensure that the approved interior design vision is accurately translated into the completed project while maintaining the highest standards of quality, functionality, programme and budget control.

This is a site-based position requiring extensive experience delivering luxury apartments, penthouses, residential towers and premium communal areas within major developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the on-site delivery of all interior design works from construction through to final handover.
• Ensure the approved design intent is correctly implemented across residential units, penthouses, lobbies, corridors, amenities and other communal areas.
• Review interior design drawings, specifications, material schedules, shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
• Coordinate interior works with architectural, structural, MEP, lighting, landscape and specialist design packages.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts, construction issues and discrepancies before they affect the programme or finished quality.
• Respond to RFIs and coordinate design clarifications between consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Review and approve material samples, finishes, joinery details, sanitaryware, ironmongery, lighting and other interior elements.
• Manage mock-up rooms, sample apartments and prototype installations, ensuring all comments are closed before wider production begins.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, material quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical and quality-related issues.
• Ensure interior fit-out works meet the developer’s luxury design and quality standards.
• Review proposed substitutions and value-engineering options without compromising the design vision or customer experience.
• Monitor design deliverables, procurement schedules and site progress against the project programme.
• Identify potential delays and coordinate recovery actions with the project and construction teams.
• Manage design changes and ensure they are properly documented, approved and communicated.
• Support commercial teams with the technical review of variations and contractor claims.
• Coordinate with procurement teams regarding long-lead materials, specialist finishes, furniture and equipment.
• Maintain accurate design documentation, approval records, material schedules and decision trackers.
• Participate in progress meetings, technical workshops and contractor coordination meetings.
• Lead interior snagging, quality inspections, defect resolution and final handover.
• Review as-built drawings, operation manuals and close-out documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Dubai regulations, authority requirements, building codes and health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in interior design, design management or interior fit-out delivery.
• Strong experience working in a site-based interior design management position.
• Proven experience delivering high-end residential buildings, luxury apartments, penthouses or residential towers.
• Previous experience working for a real estate developer, design consultant or leading main contractor.
• UAE or GCC project experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of luxury finishes, bespoke joinery, stone, flooring, lighting, sanitaryware and FF&E.
• Excellent understanding of interior construction details, materials, installation methods and quality standards.
• Experienced in reviewing shop drawings, material submissions, technical submittals and samples.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and MEP coordination within interior spaces.
• Experience managing mock-ups, sample apartments, inspections, snagging and handover.
• Ability to interpret architectural, interior design and technical construction drawings.
• Commercial awareness and experience assessing value-engineering proposals and variations.
• Strong leadership, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
• Confident managing consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist subcontractors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Salary budget: 28,000 AED - 33,000 AED per month + medical + visa + flights
