About the Role
Join an AI-powered business automation startup building a platform that uses agents to carry out work across a company's tools and systems. This hands-on individual contributor role may focus on product, platform, AI infrastructure, or a combination, with the opportunity to work across broad engineering challenges.
What You'll Do
Build user-facing product experiences across web, mobile, onboarding, and other surfaces.
Design clear ways for users to delegate work to agents, follow progress, manage uncertainty, and use results.
Own features from early product thinking through polished production software, using prototypes and customer feedback to improve them.
Build backend APIs and services, including systems for identity, workspaces, permissions, billing, payments, and analytics.
Develop reliable connectors, authentication, webhooks, automations, and third-party integrations.
Improve production systems for correctness, security, reliability, and operational simplicity.
Build and improve agent infrastructure, including context management, filesystems, execution environments, model serving, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
Two or more years of experience, with the technical depth and breadth to solve complex engineering problems across product, platform, or infrastructure.
Production experience with TypeScript across a Node.js backend and React frontend.
Hands-on experience with GCP and Docker, including managing deployments and debugging at the container and Linux level.
Recent experience writing and shipping code as an individual contributor.
A bachelor's degree in computer science from a highly regarded undergraduate program, or a dual degree that includes computer science.
Strong computer science fundamentals and experience at selective engineering organizations, with demonstrated career growth.
Experience building production infrastructure such as databases, distributed systems, compilers, operating system internals, or runtime and execution environments is valuable.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $225,000 to $425,000. Visa sponsorship is available.
