- Analyze and evaluate interfaces to ensure mission capabilities are effectively integrated across operational, intelligence, command and control, acquisition, and mission partner organizations.
- Conduct mission engineering and functional analysis of operational scenarios, mission threads, and kill chains to identify performance gaps, operational limitations, and integration opportunities.
- Support the decomposition of mission requirements into engineering, operational, and technical needs and assist in assessing achievable capability delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with government, Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), and contractor teams to evaluate alternatives and develop practical solutions to mission capability gaps.
- Analyze system performance, mission effectiveness, and sensor-to-shooter architectures to identify opportunities for improving space domain awareness, intelligence, and operational responsiveness.
- Conduct studies and investigations related to project activities and recommend improvements that enhance mission effectiveness, operational readiness, and resource utilization.
- Provide technical assistance and engineering guidance related to system design, integration, implementation, testing, operations, sustainment, and modification of mission systems.
- Support acquisition and capability delivery efforts by evaluating requirements, technical risks, dependencies, and integration impacts across multiple programs and organizations.
- Assist in the development of engineering products, technical assessments, recommendations, technical documentation, and executive-level briefings used to support programmatic and operational decision-making.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering efforts and coordinate with operators, mission planners, and acquisition organizations to ensure mission requirements are effectively incorporated into system development activities.
- Plan and coordinate assigned engineering efforts and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support personnel, with completed work reviewed primarily for achievement of project objectives.
